Diego Romero, solo awards winner, studied music at Mac high school in Milton-Freewater Oregon. After playing keyboard and Bass, he found his true calling in Guitar and Vocals.
Diego played many events and local festivals during and after attending high school. He attended the Walla Walla Blues Society rock camp where he studied under Gary Winston.
During the Brews by the Blues festival, he caught the attention of former Walla Walla Blues society president and drummer, Mike Hammond. Together with Mike, and seasoned Bass Player, Walt Ponti, they formed Diego and the Detonators.
Since the formation of Diego and the Detonators he has played many Northwest events, festivals and clubs. One of which was the Local Walla Walla Guitar Festival where he played along with well known musicians such as The Randy Oxford and others.
Young Diego shreds guitar and has the soul of an old blues musician.
